I owe 2 years worth of taxes on my home, I will have the money by the end of the year to bring them current, will anything happen to my house?

Welcome anthonynorfleet.

You should pay the tax always on time. But as you are already late and must have some problems, you should contact with IRS and inform then the financial obstacles that you are facing at present and may word out some repayment plan to pay off the back taxes.

Hello.

Contact with an tax assessor. Non-payment of property tax can incur lien on the property and the property can be sold to pay off the old tax. Inform the tax assessor the reasons for which you are delaying to pay the tax.
