My boyfriend is the caregiver of his brother who has cerebral palsy and has just gotten the paperwork to take over as caregiver from his mom now he is trying to receive the benefits that his mom was receiving for his brother's care. How can he get the financial assistance he needs to help take care of his brother?

Medicaid offers Cash and Counseling program which will help your boyfriend to get financial assistance for being a caregiver of his brother. Apart from this, there are similar state cash assistance program available at the local Medicaid office. Your boyfriend will have to contact the authorities and check whether or not his brother qualifies for this assistance. Feel free to ask if you've further queries. Sussane
