If I change my home insurance supplier, will my mortgage company charge me?...I've found a much better rate for my home insurance and would love to change providers, however, I've heard that mortgage lenders often charge you for changing... Is this correct? My mortgage is with Bank of Ireland.

well, holly, i don't know how the uk treats you, but here in the usa, there would be no penalty for changing insurers.

i'd think the same would be the case there.
