Filed bankruptcy in July 2009, discharged in Nov 2009. Last mortgage payment July 2009 (was behind 3 months). Received 1099-A for 2010.
The fair market value is higher then the balance. Moved out of house 2/2010 and bank auctioned in May. Bank bought it back and now trying to sell. Do I need to do anything with this form?

Welcome DougM,

You will have to attach this form along with your tax documents. You should contact a tax adviser and he will be able to help you in this regard.
