How can my daughter use my house as a tax write off? I only work part time she makes the major part of the mortgage but hasn't been at her job long enough to qualify to be added to mortgage. If I quick claimed it could she use it? My loan is mostly interest only and not doing me any good. She has a ver good job and needs the write off. Anyone ??? Thanks

Quit claim deed will not help her with the tax write off, but definately it will giver her ownership on the property I Technically she is makign payment)

But you can always refinance and add her name to the loan. probably you will be able to qualify.

She may claim the tax credit when she files her taxes next year, but she will need to provide proof if IRs audits
