my mother's home which still has a mortgage was deeded to me when she passed away on June 25, 2009. I have continued to make the mortgage payments on a interest only loan. Can i claim that interest on my taxes?

i believe as long as you can provide evidence of the payments you should be ok since it was willed to you but you should really get out of the interest only because that is going know where. if you want you can contact me and i can help you.
