you can count on these "advertisements" being scams. i don't suggest anyone check on these - there are probably viruses being spread, or spyware once you email them.

You will have to contact a Singapore based lender in order to get a loan. If you satisfy the required criteria for getting a loan, I don't think you would face issues in getting a loan.

To rose-marie,

You'll have to contact a Sweden based lender. Depending upon your financial situation, he would be able to let you know whether or not he would get a loan.

Hi Donald,

If you have a property, then you can use it as a collateral and get a mortgage. This will be a secured loan and the lender would check your credit score and income before approving the loan. If you are unable to pay off the loan, the lender would foreclose the collateral. This community has a large number of lenders. You can seek a no obligation free mortgage consultation from them. This will help you know whether or not you would get a loan.

You can also look for personal loans which may help you coming out of hardship. However, these loans come at a higher interest rate compared to a mortgage.

Have you contacted any lender for the loan? There are lenders in this community. You can go for a no-obligation free mortgage consultation with them. They will assess your financial situation, credit scores, etc and will let you know if you qualify for the personal loan.

but jenkin7...$5000 is not something that one of us would provide a no-obligation free mortgage consultation on. this poster is looking for a personal loan - a signature-only loan. none of us who are mortgage lenders are providing personal loans. we might know where one could be garnered, but it'd be wasteful to go through the paces of a mortgage quote for that purpose.

nazir, check locally (where the house is located) for a mortgage. you won't find too many lenders happy to give you a loan for $20000. it's simply too small a deal for anyone to make money with.
