Hi, can u pls enlighten the following:
A person living in Europe desires to buy a home property in the US and lives 3 months in the new home and remaining period of 9 months in Europe (also owned by him). Can such a person qualify for Home Owner's property tax exemptions for the home in the US; though technically the primary residency is in Europe.

Hi emmathews!

Welcome to forums!

I don't think the person would be able to take the advantage of the Home Owner's property tax exemption as the property in US won't be considered his/her primary property.
