Cora, nobody on the MortgageFit forum is going to be able to assist you with your query. You need to contact your local housing agency (do an internet search) in order to determine your status.

"U all" is not the folk responsible for responding to you...it's the people with whom you originally filed your documentation.

Would that folk would go back to the beginning and read some of what we've had to say over the years.

Darren R. Santiago: Congratulations on your post. Please do this for your own benefit: do an internet search for "housing agency" in whatever city or town you live in. That ought to give you the specific contact information for the Section 8 people with whom you completed your application. If there's a phone number, call it; if there's an address, you can certainly visit it.

If you already know where and with whom you applied, you can certainly look that agency up in the phone book (or on the internet) and call them or find their address and visit them.

Unfortunately, we who inhabit the internet world of MortgageFit are not Section 8 workers...we don't have access to anyone's records and we can only comment on what we know, and that's limited in scope.

Hi evelyn!

Welcome to forums!

As stated above, you need to contact the Public Housing Authority and check out the status of your section 8 application.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

In order for folk to post on this particular thread, there ought to be a link to what we've discussed on countless occasions so that they'd see there's no chance of determining their status here. This is like an endless cycle.

Nontozanele, where is your membership that you're trying to add beneficiaries? Are you trying to work on a Section 8 request, or do you have a Section 8 relationship in existence, or are you talking about a gym or spa, or something of that sort?

Hi CATHERINE,

You should contact the Public Housing Authority of your area in order to find out where you're in the waiting list. They will be able to let you know when you'll get your Section 8.

Thanks

To George Akerley, i find you very rude and pretty damn ignorant...obviously these people don't know who to turn to, so they simply ask on this page, it technically is under a link for people to find out there statues. If you google "check my section 8 statues" this page is something to choose from... i just think you could be a bit more pleasant in what you choose for words!! now have good day George
