Split refund

If a person has not filed his 2005 return yet. Can he also split the 2005 refund?

No Karthikeyamurugesan, refund splitting is not available for tax yrs. before 2006.

What you can do is opt for direct deposit of your 2005 refund into either your saving or checking account. But you will not be able to split this 2005 refund among 2 or 3 accounts.
