I just heard on CNN that there is a new Federal Tax Credit of up to $65.00 for people who have owned their homes for at least 5 years.
Can't find any info on this anywhere.

CNN just gave a report about a new Federal Tax Credit of up to $6500.00 for those who have owned their primary residence for at least 5 years.
Can't find any info on this.
Please help if you can. |

it's not entirely official yet. the us senate has passed this, but it has to go to the house of representatives, etc. this is an add-on to the new proposal to extend the $8000 tax credit for first time homebuyers.
do a google search and you'll find loads of commentaries.
