My mother is transferring a deed to me from one of her homes. Since I had concerns with some grey areas that she had hired an attorney for about 4 years ago, has since been rectified and since I still brought up some small concerns he suggested to me that that I should consider title insurance. I went ahead and got an appraisal for the property and I'm waiting for the appraiser to complete send to me in addition to this attorney since he is going to handle the transfer as well. He told me after it comes back I have a choice to say yes or no to the insurance. Do you think that title insurance is worth the investment?

Hi AngeloAssoc,

The title insurance will safeguard your claims toward the property. Thus, in my opinion, you should go for the title insurance.

Thanks
