My brother is unable to obtain a loan on the property and is currently living there. How can the property be put in my name for the financing then moved back to my brothers name after the financing and without a reassessment on the property? Thanks for your information.

If the property was in your name, then it cannot be transferred to your brother without your knowledge or permission. Moreover, when a property is transferred to someone, it will be reassessed. It is quite surprising to me that the property was not reassessed when it was transferred to your brother. Sussane
