Vacations are exciting, especially after 2 to 3 months of hard work. You get some relief from the hustle and bustle of day to day activities. You feel like enjoying it to its extreme, but what you require the most apart from a travel plan is proper budgeting. Just take a look at the following tips to make your budgeting simple.
You can get some of the best fares for an overseas travel during busy seasons when few sale fares are available. The fare will be minimum if you go to a discount travel agency. But make sure that you make credit card payments and you are very clear about all the restriction and refund policies.
If you consider a smaller airport, you will be saving hundreds of dollars. For example, you can plan to depart or land at Chicago midway airport rather than O'Hare.
It's always a better option to bypass airport locations while renting a car. Also, you will find that prices are cheaper at off-airport locations.
Regarding cruises, I would suggest that you book them well in advance because rates are typically cheaper with an advance notice. And don’t forget to make budgets for your drinks, side trips and souvenirs.
I agree, great tips Caron. You want to make sure you can enjoy your vacation and not worry about how much money you've just spent. Great planning is key. _________________ Cliff and Sandra
