We live in CA and are behind 2 months in our mobile home payments and now the mortgage company said they sent a letter of default giving us only 4 days to cure the default. What if we never received the letter of default?

Hi Guest,

If you had never received the letter of default, then the lender would have to give you a certain time period to pay off the dues. If you do not pay off the defaulted loan amount within that time period, the lender would go ahead with the foreclosure procedure. He will sell off the property and recover his dues.

Thanks
