We have an empty lot that is free and clear in Florida. Taxes are paid up. We live in California. Who can help us with a loan using the lot as collateral?

You need to contact the local lenders who offer land loans. You will have to apply for a land loan with them. If you've excellent credit score and a stable financial situation, the lender will originate the loan for you. This community, too, has a large number of lenders.
