You can leave the house immediately after the foreclosure process starts. But if your lender permits, you can stay in the property until it is sold and also pay a rent to the lender. Once it is sold, the lender and the new owner will give you a 3 day notice within which you will have to leave the property. Feel free to ask if you have further queries. Sussane

I have a lawyer hopefully he can resolve this

On that date your property will be sold off. Once the property is sold off, the new buyer of the property will give you a three day notice period.
