My brother and I purchased a property before he got married. The Grant Deed stated that we are joint tenancy. If I buy out his share now does the wife have any interest in the property if later they are divorced?

a good question for a lawyer. i hope one hops on the forum and answers it. if not, you'd be well-served to seek out a real estate lawyer and pose the question to him or her.

and i didn't mean to be curt with that answer. i simply don't have a proper answer, so my best bet is to suggest a lawyer's involvement.
