i have a law suit judgement, and the other party put a lien on my property, i live in California, can they force me(the Court) to sell the property to pay them back?

The lien will stay on your property until you sell or refi the home.

Hi julieee,

As Chris has said, the lien will remain on the property unless it is sold off. The lien holder may have the rights to force you to sell off the property so that he/she will be able to recover the debts.
