We own a 2003 Clayton Manufactured home appx 1700 sq feet. We would like to put it on some property we are looking at in Paso Robles, CA that is for sale for 90 thousand. We need a well on property. Since the Manufactured home is free and clear we are trying to find financing. My husband works for the State of CA 15 years, and I am employed with the County of San Luis Obispo 16 months. Can you give us some suggestions? If it helps my husband is also a General Contractor.

Hi slo,

You will have to speak to the mobile home loan lenders of your area and check out if you can get pre-approved for a loan. Depending upon you financial situation, your credit score, debt to income ratio, age of the mobile home, etc. you would be able to get qualified for a mobile home loan. In case, you do not qualify for a conventional loan, you can look out for personal property loans. These loans are available with the lenders who sell mobile homes.

Thanks
