While married I purchased a home under my name only. Upon getting a divorce I quit claimed the house to my then wife. She was to get the house out of my name and into hers. Now a year later, house is still in my name and she is currently 3 months behind on the mortgage with penalty fees occurring daily. How can I save my credit and home. She doesn't have good enough credit to refinance the home in her name. I live in CA she lives in AZ. Not sure my options here any help greatly appreciated.

Welcome theresavargassd,

You can ask your ex-wife to transfer the property in your name. Once the property is transferred in your name, you should contact the lender and pay off the balance amount to save the property as well as your credit.
