hi
i am married in the state of ca. for 6 yrs now. my husband just qualified w/ his own credit for a first time loan. i have not been abele to contribute w/ money, so he wants me to sign a qcd. ??
as a women what am i doing and how will this affect me ie.. no equity or security for me ?

Hi Pamelam,

As far as I know, if the property has not been purchased with the community funds, you won't be able to claim it as your community property. Thus, you may not be able to claim any ownership to that property. I would suggest you to contact an attorney and take his opinion in this regard.
