fmommie3 Guest	Posted: Sat Sep 26, 2009 7:43 am    Post subject: quitclaim deed Like 0 Dislike 0 I live in california and bought my home befor I was married, I am now refinancing and my husbands name is not on the loan and has never been on the deed but the bank wants him to sign a paper relinquishing his right and saying that the grant deed will appear only in my name. Therefore, Your home will be considered as a marital property & your husband as well will have stake in it. That is the reaon bank is asking him to sign. Actually it is good for you
