If a quit deed is filed in CA, will the property need to be reevaluated? Will this increase the property tax?

Welcome Locindyfai,

After there is a transfer of the property ownership, normally it is re-evaluated for the purpose of property taxes. After the re-evaluation, there can be a slight change in property taxes.
