quit claim deed

I live in CA. I am stay at home mom with no credit history....totally dependent on my husband. we bought a house and i signed the quit claim deed to move the purchase faster. does that mean I have no rights on the property? what happens if my husband dies or divorces me?
Can adding myself to the property title help?
