I want to buy a home but my credit is shot. Just lost a house and I'm renting due to circumstances beyond my control. My friend has offered to use her name and credit if I can come up with the down payment to purchase another home. I would move in and make the payment. Could she quitclaim deed it to me? How would something like that work? or could it work? I live in Turlock California. Don't really know much about what I'm talking about so please bear with me.
