Does he have any rights over the house, (he repaired the whole house) . He is an alcoholic, very abusive physically towards me. I live in California and want to divorce him. Thanks for your time!!

You should check out the property deed in order to find if his name is mentioned as the owner of the property. If not, then you would be considered as the sole owner of the property. Thanks
