monique66 Joined: 15 Sep 2010 Posts: 1 1.29 Dollars($)	Posted: Wed Sep 15, 2010 6:27 pm    Post subject: bought home 1st of july 2010 Like 0 Dislike 0 is it possible to refinance in such a short period of time? we paid 5.25% for 30 year fixed mortgage with bank of america, when i asked the question to bank of america they said it was not allowed for 6 months due to laws, can you explain this please? which laws and where can i find this, we live in California and bought the property in Chula Vista, California

Most lenders will want you to wait for at least 8-10 months before you can refinance your mortgage.
