My sibling is buying me out of my half of a property we inherited alone; and we are the only persons on the current title. Does there need to be any documents signed by my spouse in order for me to sell my interest in the property?

Hi pjohara,

You've mentioned that you inherited the property. In that case, your brother's name and your name must be mentioned in the property deed. Inherited property is not a part of the community property. Thus, your spouse will not have to sign any deed while you sell off your interest to your brother.
