Hi RAY,

The remaining owners will have to remove the deceased person's name from the property deed. If the deceased person does not have any heirs to the property, then the remaining owners can file an affidavit of heirship and get the property transferred in their names. Then the owners can list the property in the market to sell it off or contact a real estate agent for the same.

Thanks
RAY

Hi RAY,

As far as I can understand, your two nieces will be able to file an affidavit of heirship and get the property transferred in their names.

Thanks
