In California - a new trust and a grant deed transfering a home from the old trust to the new were signed and notarized on 7/3. The revocation of the old trust was also notarized but it is not accurate. Can an accurate revocation be signed and notarized or does it have to be dated on or before the same date as the other documents?

Hi svenskasailor,

The revocation of the old trust needs to notarized and recorded correctly. As far as I know, the accurate revocation should be signed and notarized dated on or before the same date as the other documents.

Thanks
