Barb Guest	Posted: Wed Aug 05, 2009 10:55 am    Post subject: Quit Claim Like 0 Dislike 0 My brother-in-law signed a quit claim, early last year for the house and property that was jointly owned with my sister. My sister died in December. They were llegally married for 20 years in the state of Colorado at the time of her death. How can he get the property back in his name. Does it automatically transfer back to him since he is the spouse of the deceased grantee?
