AimLoan not delivering

Posted on: 09th Sep, 2009 08:16 pm
Not that anyone can help me but I'll put it out there anyway. We are using Aimloan. We are boxed and ready to move as our closing date is Friday. Suddenly today Aimloan has started asking for items document by document and each time we comply they come up with something else. We have met every deadline, exceeded the financial criteria, turned in every document, we make a significant income and have more "reserves" than they requested. And yet, at the end of today no word on if the Underwriters have approved us. The loan officer just quit responding mid email conversation. Will we suddenly not get the house we planned on moving into in two days? What is my recourse. I feel lost and screwed over by Aimloan. The selling agent is mad, I'm mad but we did everything right! The loan officer has never answered her phone. Ever. How do you hold Underwriters or Aimloan accountable if they pre-approve you, you do everything they ask, you exceed the criteria and they just up and say no two days before? There's nothing I can do, huh? Maybe it'll all work out tomorrow morning but I do not trust this loan officer to do anything right. Again, no one on this can help but its theraputic to write.
Tj

You said it correctly with just few words we may console you but in reality within two days even if somebody tries to help you through some means I won't think it will get done within 2 days.

But I must thank you for your courage to put it to the public so that people will take care in future while dealing with AIMLOAN

Keep in touch.....

Just a response is reassuring (even if it isn't actually ;-) so thanks. I need to talk myself off the ledge a bit. She has a chance to get this right tomorrow morning. She did in fact spend 2 hours online this afternoon asking for document after document which we provided in every case. So, maybe tomorrow it will all come together. If not the CEO of Aim Loan actually posts his email on line ;-) I will post if it all works out tomorrow so I don't unnecessarily throw them under the bus. Thanks again for the response!

Hi tj!

Welcome to forums!

I would suggest you to contact Aimloan and check out if they are speeding up the process or not. If they do not give you a satisfactory answer, I would suggest you to speak to other lenders and check out if they can give you a loan.

So, I guess people are learning I and don't think Aimloan is an option for anyone here now.

tj, you told us that the ceo has his email address out there. i don't know why you would hesitate to contact him immediately. you should already have done so. what are you waiting for? more disappointment? it's too late for you not to act now.

and i don't mean to be mean to you - but i hope you don't hesitate to take whatever action you need to take to get to closing. i wish you well.
