Just wanted to add to everyone else's remarks. I have been getting TONS of emails from different sources with names of different people that have no subject, and when you look at the emails, they are all the same thing: saying they are loan companies offering loans at 3% interest. However, when I replied to one of those bogus emails with Mr. James Cotten's name on it, I requested information on their company, such as where they are located, and whether or not they are a legitimate company, and the response I got was that I had to fill out their so-called "application" first. This application has questions such as your nationality and next of "kim" (I assume that means kin). If they were legit, they would not ask those questions. Asking your nationality is illegal to begin with because legitimate lending institutes know that to lend on the basis of race or national origin is illegal in the United States. Which also leads me to believe these people are operating out of the country, probably Nigeria or Ghana, where so many of these scams originate from. My advise: delete these emails and stay away from them. _________________ Need help choosing the right loan? Get free consultation from community lenders/consultant |
