I did a search about this company in BBB website and found two companies listed there with the same name. But none of them is BBB accredited. Refer to the page below to search with the name of the company and you will get a detailed report about the company.

Are they HUD-approved? I have more confidence in company's that are, but ultimately it's your Loan Officer you should be concerned about. Chicago Bancorp may have a good reputation, but your experience is going to be directly with a Loan Officer, and that's the person that's going to help you select your loan program, and they're also going to assign your interest rate and fees. Can a family member or friend refer you to somebody who has treated them right in the past? _________________ Raymond

raymond, i can't agree with you more. the relationship that someone forges with a loan officer is going to make far more difference than the ultimate lender. a decent loan officer, for example, is not only engaged in the entire process, but will seek to do the best for a client that is reasonable while also making a reasonable living. of course, that's broker world, and lenders who don't have the option of shopping around for funds need not suffer as a result. _________________ George M.
