Google them with the word illegal and you will find serveral sites confirming all of this. I went directly to my bank and changed my account number, apparently people even report they'll take money out in the future for no reason. They are crooks, bottom line, and they can't even report you to a collection agency.

Does that mean they're good places to borrow money? No, not at all. I urge anyone to avoid payday lenders at all costs - too many horror stories have been written on this site for me to feel any other way. _________________ George M.
