Can credit card company place lien on Social Security Check?

However, they will garnish a savings account unless it is social security benefit You will need to let the bank know if it is a social security benefit so that they can stop it from being garnished.

Make sure this is only ss benefits because if you deposit other monies it could make it so that they can attach. I also have never heard of anyone but a bank putting a lein on a car.

You will have to speak to the lender regarding this. You can even consult a lawyer who will speak to the lender on your behalf. Thanks
