Helpme Guest	Posted: Mon Nov 07, 2011 12:32 am    Post subject: Remove foreclosure from CR Like 0 Dislike 0 The mortgage lender started foreclosure proceedings 2 years back but we were able to modify the loan and have been paying it ever since. However, when I checked my credit reports recently, I found that one of the bureaus is still reporting "foreclosure proceedings started". You shouldn't let it remain on your credit report as it is a wrong information and may lower your scores.
