I just viewed my credit report from all 3 bureaus and my second mortgage is showing as Balance -0- and account closed.

I have NOT paid off this account.

It sounds like you just need to update the account. I'm curious to know if your second mortgage is a HELOC aka Home Equity Line of Credit?!? You should be able to update the account with a Rapid Rescore! My services include Raid Rescore! In fact I would be able to help you with the following

• Rapid rescoring- Updating existing accounts.
• Credit repair- The removal of derogatory / negative items.
• Education/Credit consultation- The “do & don’ts” of the credit world. Sure we can petition the credit bureaus, but ultimately our clients need to understand what could make or break their scores.

Wouldn't that be wonderful if it were true, LOL. I wish mine was at zero, for real, can you write the mortgage company and ask them to report it correctly, they may do that or should be obligated to do that for you so that your report reflects the correct information.

I wouln't worry about that. It will not affect your credit negatively that it is not reporting.

It sort of does effect him, and it could be considered negative. Your score goes up based on current payments. if it shows 0 balance and no payments, even though they are being made will not help raise the score.
