effects of 2months behind payments of home loan

irumasghar1300 Joined: 10 Dec 2008 Posts: 4 2.96 Dollars($)	Posted: Wed Dec 10, 2008 11:21 am    Post subject: effects of 2months behind payments of home loan i,m talking to a company to modify the value of my house from my lender.They want me to stop paying my mortgage till they finish the process with the help of thier attorneys .Will this effect my sons student loans ?as its his last quarter before he graduates I,m desperate to get the mortgage payments lowered please advise.

I don't think a loan modification will affect the student loan in any way. Thanks
