Imy credit report shows a bankrutercy that was dismissed,but Ilet it be dismissed myself.Inever went back with any billsand the court dismissed it but Iwas shocked to see it on my credit report

Once you file a bankruptcy, it will show up on your credit report. Whether you backed out or not is secondary. The damage had been already done to your credit report.

the dismissal of your bankruptcy is not necessarily going to hurt you in obtaining future credit. what will rule in your seeking credit in the future is your overall credit rating.
