if you file chapter 7 bankruptcy with your house will it show a foreclosure on your credit also?...i am very upside down in my house and i don't know what to do! file chapter 7 bankruptcy and put my house with it or just walk away? my fiance job went very south and we can not make the mortgage payment anymore!!!! but if i file chapter 7 will it also show a foreclosure on my credit report??!! help!
Yes thats correct. I think it will show as foreclosed on your credit report.

I don't think Realgeni is correct in this regard. Chapter 7 bankruptcy will not be shown as a foreclosure on your credit report. You can file Chapter 7 bankruptcy and discharge your mortgage. However, if you reaffirm the mortgage, you will become liable for the mortgage again.
