This account was solely in my name. But surprisingly, this account has been reported to my husband’s credit report. Is this legal? _________________ Need help choosing the right loan? If the account is solely in your name, then it shouldn't be mentioned in your husband's credit report. Your husband should contact Verizon as well as the credit bureaus and ask them rectify and update the account status in his credit report.
