Is the fannie mae two-year seasoning rule after a short sale the most recent ruling?

Thanks for your time

Hi dgreenlee,

Yes, Fannie Mae announced on 25th June, 2008 that the seasoning on short sale will be 2 years. This means that one can get a Fannie Mae approved loan only 2 years after he has been through short sale.

Thanks
