Do tradelines really work to fix your credit? Please let me know if anyone has bought these and if it worked. thx

There are many organization which offer tradelines and claim that they will give a postive boost to your credit score and history and will help to improve your overall debt to income (DTI) ratio. Some of these organizations can be scams. So, before taking help of any such organization, you should read through the terms and conditions carefully and then sign on the dotted lines.

Do you actually have any experience in dealing with them? Or is this just your educated guess? Thanks for your answer but it just sounds like a general statement that would apply to anything, i was looking for something more specific like someone who has actually delt with it.

I suggest avoiding any companies selling aged tradelines. It's a really shady business. Why not focus on building some positive payment history yourself? Get a secured credit card, use it responsibly, and pay your bills on time and in full every month. That's what will build your credit scores over time.

If you have a spouse or close relative with good credit, ask them to add you as an authorized user on one of their oldest credit cards in good standing with low credit utilization. This should help improve your FICO scores, and it's a lot safer than trying to buy tradelines.
