Is there anything I can do when a lender is not reporting my on time payments to the credit bureaus and a year has now passed? We purchased the home for security and credit.

Hi jestinashearin,

You should keep in constant touch with your lender and ask him to report your on time payments to the credit bureaus. Other than this, I don't think you've much to do.

Thanks,

Jerry

Thank you for the information. So would you recommend we go through a new bank, so our credit is reflecting my payments, because the loan would definitely boost our credit scores higher.

Hi Jestina,

You can refinance your mortgage with another bank. The new bank will report the payments to the credit bureaus which will have a positive impact on your credit scores.

Thanks
