How long will it take between the time of signing the loan docs and getting them reported on the credit report? Some say it’s 2 months while some say it’s 4 months!! Transunion may start reporting your mortgage within a month and a half later. However, some lenders may even start reporting the mortgage 3-4 months later. Thanks, Jerry

If you close October 2 your first payment is not due until November first and is not late until November 15. You might not make your first payment until November 15. Payments are not reported until the servicer reports them and that could be once a month before or after you made the payment. Looks to me like it may hit your credit repprt anywhere from 60 to 90 days after you close.
