Didn't you ever had a transaction with them or may be at least one of them? perhaps the scammers are passing on information to one another and that's the reason they are messing up with your account. Did you talk to the bank officials on what can be done?

Do you have loans with any of them? and not all of them seem to be loan companies.

HI,

You are right Adonis. I think one scammer is passing his account number to one another.

Orionandwyatt, I think you should contact with the bank ASAP and close the account.

You need to file complaints at the Attorney General's office.

Thanks,
Larry

Hi Betty,

Welcome to the forums.

Who is taking account money from your checking account? pls find it out and take immediate action. Talk to the bank officials and see what they suggest. You might have to close the account. But this does not mean that closing the bank account will affect your credit score.

Thanks,

Jerry.

Hi husker.

Welcome to the forum.

Who is withdrawing money from your account? I think you should close you account ASAP so that none can withdraw money from your account and open a new account.

Best of luck,

All banks have an investigation department. If someone is fraudulently withdrawing from your account, the banks will prosecute them.

Contact the bank, they will go over with you every transaction for the last month. THey will probably send you a copy of the statement in the mail on the contested accounts and you sign it stating that they are fraud.

I know Bank of America credits it back in 24 hours.

If this has been consistantly happening over a perioud of a few months, it might be a good idea to close the account.

Also, since these are loan companies withdrawing money from your bank account, it would be a good idea to get a credit report pulled to make sure no one has stolen your identity.

There are sites on the internet that when you do a money transaction with them. You click on something while there, not knowing have just agree to a trail of something. After your 7 day trail they start charging your account. On your bank statement look and see those people who are charging you, often their phone number is next to the charge. A printing company has done this twice to me. That 14.95 here and 7.95 there and not knowing they are hitting your account messes up your banking. That UMG you mention looks like the same folks.
When you use the credit or debit on the internet and click on the wrong. That company you have been buying from just passed your info to this other company. That's howw they can hit your account and not know it right way. Watch those trail try out stuff, because if you don't remember to go back when the trail is over and stop it. They will hit your account for a few months without you even knowing it.

Hi bgina!

I agree with you and believe that one should be extremely careful about dealing with such organizations. If anybody is facing such a situation, he/she should immediately report it to the State Attorney General. This will help them to take legal steps against them.

Thanks.

Hi tony,

You must have signed documents which states that your interest rate is 9.95%. If not, then the creditor cannot charge that interest rate from you. In my opinion, you should contact an attorney and he would let you know what steps you need to take. He'll help you in dealing with the company.

adonis, $9.95 is not 9.95%.

tony, i think your bank made a valuable suggestion. for a one-time stop payment fee of $30, you can eliminate the mess of these debits coming. i'd take advantage of it if i were you.
