Thanks, I looked at a few today and I have to tell you that it is down right retarded the fees that they want to open an account on the cards that I found, I would never pay that.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what cards have a descent rate? I know that I must be punished but the ones that I found, I would not even consider.

jbarto, you can go for Blue from American Express® or Citi® Platinum Select® Card. These are having interest rates as low as 9.99% and 7.99% compared to that of other cards.

Thanks adonis, do you know if these guys offer cards to people with bad credit, I don't want to apply for a bunch and have the hard inquiries on my report because that would lower my score too. I am looking a head of time to see which to apply for.

Best bet is to get one of those Visa that you actually put money on the card yourself. I see Wal mart has them now. You can load them with your own cash and they work just like a credit card. I am doing this to use for web site purchases. Getting too risky out there.

ben24, what is for people with excellent credit, I am not following you here, I was talking about the prepaid and the cards that want a high deposit to open an account. I can not afford that and would not pay it if I could. thanks for the post ben.

Just think it is crazy, I refuse to pay it, if other people would do the same, they would not have a market for this craziness of high interest rates.
