Credit score monitoring service is an option, considering the rise in the number of identity theft cases. It is not enough to check the credit scores only once or twice a year. It is important to keep an eye on the report and get updates on any major changes in the credit, like if someone tries to open an account in your name etc. There are various companies that offer credit monitoring services. But you need to do a bit of research before you go for such services.
